Apply for a Home

Individuals & families wanting to apply for a Habitat home should meet the following criteria:

Need for shelter – You need to demonstrate you are in need of housing and are currently living in overcrowded, temporary, or substandard housing; or that you are at risk of losing housing for any reason.

Willingness to partner – You need to complete the required hours of “Sweat Equity”.

Ability to pay – TIAHFH will sell the house to you for the cost of the land and materials with an interest free loan. Monthly payments will include your homeowners insurance and taxes, which will be established in an escrow account.

The application process usually takes 3-6 months.
